Linda Lee Harrison, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and fiercely loyal friend, passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 72.
Linda was born on October 13, 1953, in Denver, Colorado, to the late John Dallas Cherry Jr., and Threasa “Pat” Cherry. As the oldest of five children, she grew up in Loveland, Colorado, alongside her five siblings Lester, Louis, Larry, and Lillian.
In April, Linda celebrated a remarkable 53 years of marriage to the love of her life and husband Lanny Harrison. Through their time they lived in five different states, each of which they built a community to call home. Their open hearts often came with an open home where they created familial bonds to all who needed someone to call Mom or Grandma.
Linda spent her life embodying every type of homemaker you can think of. She was a natural nurse, talented chef, shoulder to cry on, an exquisite cake decorator, a masterful party planner, and overall gifted crafter. She filled everyone’s life with joy and whimsy with crafting of all kinds, beaded eggs, and sharing her deep love for animals, fairies, and unicorns.
Above all else, Linda poured her heart into the people she loved. Her proudest accomplishments were the family she built with her husband. She is survived by her beloved husband, Lanny; her daughter, Donna, and husband, Tim; her grandchildren, Tyler (Raelyn) and Crystal; her great-grandson, Kaison; her siblings, Lester, Louis, Larry, and Lillian; and all those who had the honor of calling her “Mom or Grandma”.
Keeping with Linda’s wishes, there will be no official service. Her family asks you to honor and remember her in ways she would have loved, through creativity, storytelling, and loving those around you.

I don’t remember who said what, or who started it, whatever “it” was. She chased Levi and I out of the house one day, with a big ole butcher knife! Fun times picking on Linda! She always got even! I love and miss you Linda!
