The staff of Cremation.Green are compassionate and professional. Their clientele come to them during the hardest, most emotional days of their lives and they handle it with such grace. A very special thank you to Gideon who picked up my father in the middle of the night in a rainstorm. His clothes were dry and tidy but his hair told me he had already been soaked to the bone. He never rushed and showed my father such dignity even as they left the house in the pouring rain.

My mother passed on May 7th and I called several places, most made the call difficult. Cremation Green was quick and to the point just like I wanted. Overall helpful and good people. Marlaena is very patient and professional, we were comfortable leaving our grandmother in their care. I have recommended them to others and I would do so. My one issue has been with the Death Certificates. We paid for multiple copies, and through lots of run around, we are having to take care of that on our own, with the State, /again/. I need the business to offer pick up for Death Certificates. I would have paid a fee to do so. I understand that might be a challenge for liability reasons, but it's got to be better than us having to run around months after our Grandmother's death to still get certificates we already paid for, because we didn't receive the first set, and because we didn't request them originally, have to start this process all over again.

Very kind and compassionate team that helped handle every step of the process. Most importantly, they were incredibly cost efficient compared to the main two or three well known funeral homes in town whose prices were easily 3 to 4 times more expensive for the exact same service. Before the cremation takes place, we ensure that the body is free of any materials that could potentially harm the environment, such as batteries or medical devices. During the cremation process, we use clean fuels that produce less pollution, and we monitor the temperature and emissions closely to ensure minimal impact on the environment.

After the cremation, we carefully collect and separate the remains to minimize any potential harm to the environment. We offer a variety of urns and other containers made from eco-friendly materials to house the remains, ensuring that the final resting place is also environmentally conscious.

Our flame cremation service is a thoughtful option for those seeking a more sustainable way to handle their remains after death. By making conscious efforts before, during, and after the cremation process, we strive to make a positive impact on the environment while providing a dignified and respectful service.

What’s Included With Direct Cremation

Our clean flame cremation process includes:

Personal assistance from the Director who’s available 24/7.
Transfer of deceased from facility of death or Medical Examiner’s office to refrigerated holding (1st 35 miles from our dispatch areas included).
Sheltering of the remains in a temperature-controlled environment up to 5 days (additional $50/day, unless delay is involuntary).
Removal of plastics and medical devices.
Alternative Cremation Container ($95 value)
Crematory Fee
Biodegradable temporary cremains container ($40 value).
Appointment for retrieval of cremated remains in our office.

The cremation process begins with our team transporting the body to our energy efficient crematorium in as short a distance as possible to reduce the use of fossil fuels. We also use a hybrid vehicle to cut down on emissions.

We minimize air pollutants by removing plastics.

In an effort to minimize impact as much as possible, we remove all medical and end-of-life plastics prior to cremation. This keeps the chemicals from releasing into the atmosphere. We also use clean cotton sheets and place the body in a cardboard container for cremation.
