March 27, 2026
Birthplace: Palos Heights, Illinois
Resided In: Austin, Texas

Evan Sedall, 27, entered eternal rest on March 27, 2026.

Born on March 14, 1999, Evan was raised in New Lenox, Illinois, where he grew up surrounded by family and lifelong friends. In his early twenties, he spent several years living in Cookeville, Tennessee. In December of 2025, he moved to Austin, Texas, where he lived with his brother, Paul.

Evan was a truly special soul—someone who brought light, warmth, and positivity wherever he went. He had a deep love for nature, animals, and the world around him, and he carried a spirit that lifted others effortlessly. He was known for his constant good mood, his kindness, and his ability to make people feel seen and appreciated.

He had a profound passion for motorcycles, where he found freedom and peace on the open road. He also loved making music, pouring his creativity and emotion into something that connected him to others. Some of his happiest memories were spent snowboarding in Colorado with his father and brother, moments filled with adventure, laughter, and a shared love for the outdoors.

Evan shared a rare and enduring bond with Jillian, whom he had known since they were 10 years old. They spent 16 years together and built a love that was deep, genuine, and unlike most people ever experience. She was his soulmate, and the connection they shared will forever remain a meaningful part of his story.

He is survived by his loving mother, Catherine; his father, Paul Sr and wife Laurie (Richards); his brother, Paul Jr; his sister, Becky; his nieces, Karli and Kacie; and his beloved cat, Bowzer.

Evan will be remembered as a bright light, a kind and gentle spirit, and someone who made a lasting impact on everyone he met. His presence brought joy, and his memory will continue to do the same.

Forever loved. Never forgotten.

Until we meet again.

  1. Although Evan and I drifted in our adult lives, I will always cherish the memories we had made together as friends in childhood. From camping out in Pilcher Park, to skating on Cedar Road when it was closed for construction, to working in the kitchen with him at my my first job, I have a lot of great memories with him I will cherish for life. He always gave me a run for my money being the funniest person in the room, and he was a great friend to me in times when I desperately needed someone to keep me going. Rest in peace brother.

  2. Evan was one of my son James’ closest friends. They were always composing music together. Whether it was while he was in town, face timing from TN or playing together at venues, they both were in their element, together.. There were also alot of 3 day music festivals they all would go to.. Those are just some of the memories that will be cherished forever.

  3. Evan was a part of our family. I remember when he was younger and he was goofing around on the side of the house and I said who are you ? and he says who are you? I said aunt Jean and I smiled at him. Because his personality came out. The thing that I never would’ve guessed is he was still around as a teenager and young adults and he called me. Aunt Jean and I was happy to have him as a nephew.
I loved Evan sense of humor, his ability to talk to all of the Aunts and Uncles
    May he rest in peace.

  4. I never got to know Evan very well, however, I knew people that knew him and I always heard great things about him. I know his presence will be missed greatly by every heart he touched. Rest easy, Evan.

  5. Evan was at his core a great person. We may not have been best of friends or even great friends but still in classes we shared early on in high school, he was always friendly and never put anyone down or made them feel left out. I don’t think I knew it at the time but I admired Evan for that. Rest in peace and may God watch over you and your family.
