August 26, 2025
Birthplace: Tucson, AZ
Resided In: Hutto, TX

Robert Lee Siler passed away on August 26, 2025.  He was born on May 26, 1969 in Tucson, Arizona to Patricia Perry Siler and Orval Lee Siler.  As a teenager, he moved to Austin, Texas.  He worked most of his early career for Sears and later for Dell Technologies. Robbie enjoyed many years as an active fisherman, participating in Sharkathon, as a member of Team Oso fishing, and fishing the beaches of Padre Island National Seashore with his son Duston and many close friends.  Robbie also enjoyed hunting in South Texas.  In 2015, he met his wife Melissa doing something he loved – cooking bar-b-que.  We’re sorry he never got the chance to “Beat Bobby Flay”, which he would have loved.  He enjoyed listening to live music (especially Duston) and loved spending time with his friends and family.  While he would never admit to having a soft spot for children, he always wanted to ensure that the children in Melissa’s classes never went without.  He was preceded in death by his beloved mother Patricia and his nana Karleen Perry. He is survived by his wife Melissa (nee Becker), son Duston, father Lee, brother Patrick, nephews Weston and Wyatt, and many others who loved him as family.  Robbie brought joy to those around him with his big heart and warm smile. He will be remembered with much love and many happy memories.  He will be forever missed by the many who cared deeply for him.

A Celebration of Robbie’s Life will be held on September 27, 2025 in Hutto, TX.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the following organizations:  St. David’s Rehabilitation Hospital (https://stdavidsfoundation.org/get-involved/donate/), where he received great care after his accident in 2019, or the Mr. Siler Honorarium, a fund set up in Hutto ISD to help pay lunch debt for current students at Lee Martinez Elementary School.
