Pflugerville, Texas – Pamela Russa Field Soria, beloved mother, dedicated educator, and proud UCLA Bruin, peacefully passed away on October 10, 2023, in the compassionate care of nurses in Round Rock, Texas at Ignite Medical Resorts, after battling health complications. She was 77.
Born on May 12, 1946, in the vibrant city of San Francisco, Pamela’s journey was marked by warmth, compassion, and an unwavering dedication to education. A proud UCLA Bruin, she embraced the spirit of learning that would become a hallmark of her life.
Pamela dedicated over 35 years of her life to shaping the minds and hearts of students as a special education teacher with the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). Her passion for teaching went beyond the curriculum; she touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of her students and colleagues.
Survived by her devoted son, Frank Soria Jr., and his family, Pamela’s love extended to the joy of being a grandmother. Her family was the center of her universe, and she found immense joy in witnessing the growth and achievements of her loved ones.
