Michel Morris Montana Olguin

Michel Morris Montana Olguin went to be with our Lord and Savior on April 3, 2024. Lovingly known as “Homie” to his dad, and “Montana” by his family and many friends, Montana was born in Austin, Texas to Michel and Rita Olguin. He lived most of his life in Round Rock, where he attended Cactus Ranch Elementary, Walsh Middle School, and Round Rock High School. He was a member of the graduating Class of 2018. He was a lifetime member of St. Williams Catholic Church in Round Rock. As a child, he was a member of the Boy Scouts of America, and enjoyed many wonderful activities with his family. Camping, hunting, snowboarding and fishing trips were among some of his favorite past times. He was an avid lacrosse player in high school. After graduation and until the time of his passing, Montana was a student of Austin Community College. He enjoyed working with his dad in the family-owned construction business. One of his favorite activities was working out at the gym! He loved spending time and playing with Dakota and Major, his two canine companions, and Sierra, his cat. His family will miss him, and will cherish the memories of times spent together. Montana was predeceased by his grandparents – Morris Olguin, Jr., Mariam Mokarzel, and Vicente L. G. and Margaret C. Martinez, and several uncles and aunts. He leaves behind his parents, many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. We find comfort in the blessing of eternal life and await our reunion. A celebration of life is planned for Wednesday, May 8th. Visitation is from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., with the service immediately following at the Wells Branch Community Center, 2106 Klattenhoff Drive, Austin. Light refreshments will be served after the service. All are welcome. The family requests no flowers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Montana’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
