Jillene Anne Gajkowski, age 75, of Smithville, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on December 23, 1949, Jill’s life was a testimony of Jesus’s love for us, lived out through her kindness, grace, and strong faith. 1 John 4:12 tells us, ‘If we love one another, God lives in us and His love is made complete in us.’ Jill’s love and her walk with Jesus made God’s presence tangible to all around her.
She was a beloved wife, mom, Gramma, sister and friend known for her strength, kind heart, sharp wit, and sense of humor. Jillene touched the lives of many with her giving spirit and wisdom.
Jillene is survived by her husband of 55 years, Paul, her children Sarah, Aaron, Stasia, John and Megan, their loving life partners Sydney, Anna, Alejandro, Laura and Andrew, her wonderful grandchildren Logan, Kendall, Zoe, Anderson, Raleigh and Caroline, four bonus grandchildren Julia, Gregory, Katelyn, and Kensey and her sister Judy. She is preceded in death by her father John Gordon Raleigh and her mother Virginia.
A memorial will be held at RoseBridge Estate on October 26th from 2 to 4 where family and friends will gather to celebrate her life and share cherished memories. For those who would like to send flowers or a note of remembrance, these may be sent to the family’s home.
She will be deeply missed but our memories of her will live in our hearts forever.
