Javonte Jamar Fleming, 26, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on August 22, 2023, in Austin, Texas. He was born on June 17, 1997, in Baltimore, Maryland.
His family relocated to Austin, TX. in June of 2001, where Javonte and Monyce attended school. The family eventually moved to Round Rock, TX. in 2004, where they both ended up graduating from Stony Point High School.
Javonte was a soft-spoken and laid-back individual who mostly kept to himself. However, he also cherished moments spent engaging in activities with his loved ones. Javonte was a very intellectual young man. He was barely eight years old when he joined the chess club at school. He loved to write poetry and music. Javonte had a passion for studying the Oriental and Chinese cultures. He once said that if he was to pass on, for us to spread his ashes along the great wall of China. Javonte really wanted to visit China at some point. He was also a huge gamer and loved working with computer programs, such as video editing and music software. His favorite game to play with family and friends was guitar hero. We had so much fun, as he would dominate and make it look so easy. He also enjoyed going fishing with his dad at times and playing golf with his dad.
Javonte had many people who loved him, more than he ever knew. He is survived by the following loved ones: His Mother – Monica, his Father – James, his sister – Monyce, two Aunts, Corryn and Dion, along with five cousins: Chasity, Leniyah, Maddison, Brielle, and Dawson.
Javonte’s passing has left a void in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be remembered for his gentle nature and his willingness to help someone else. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Javonte’s gentle nature and quiet demeanor made a lasting impression on those who knew him. He possessed a unique ability to find joy in the simple things in life. Whether it was engaging in hobbies, exploring new places, or simply appreciating the company of loved ones, Javonte always approached life with a calm and peaceful spirit.
Although his time with us was cut short, Javonte’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be remembered for his kind soul, his love for those closest to him, and his unwavering loyalty.
The loss of Javonte leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his legacy of compassion and tranquility will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
A private memorial service will be held to honor Javonte’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a mental health charity of your choice, as Javonte had a deep empathy for those struggling with mental health issues.
