Jack Leo Fletcher, 72, passed away on March 12, 2024, in Austin, Texas. He was born on September 10, 1951 in Big Spring, Texas.
He had a deep love for his family, especially his grandchildren, who lovingly called him Granddaddy Jack. His passion was golf, although he was never satisfied with his game; it was the time spent with friends that he loved. He was a die hard Texas Longhorn fan, and a dedicated, sometimes frustrated, Dallas Cowboys fan.
Jack is survived by his wife Connie, daughters Brandi, Laci, and Amy. As well as his grandchildren Mason, Maddie, Ava, Alexandria, and Odessa. He is also survived by his five siblings: Gigi Scott, Eugene Wood Fletcher III (Woody), Judy Richbourg, Tommy Fletcher, and Mickie McGregor. Jack was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Wood Fletcher Jr., mother Gloria (Nall) Fletcher, nephew Jonathan McGregor, brothers-in-law Jerry Richbourg and Ed Scott.
Those who knew him are going to miss his quick wit, knowledge of almost all things, giving spirit and kind heart. A Celebration of Life in honor of Jack will be held privately. Contributions in memory of Jack Fletcher can be made to the Jack Fletcher Memorial Fund, Wells Fargo bank.
