Suzanne Broaddus passed away on May 19. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on April 26, 1959 to Dr. Luther Lee Broaddus and Martha Elizabeth Hollingsworth. Suzanne graduated from Churchill High School, class of 1977 and attended Southwest Texas State University. From early on she lived in a world of animals; her cats and dogs and horses were her children. Suzanne had many friends and welcomed them into her home often as roommates and guests. Her generosity knew no bounds and she gave her time to anyone in need. Suzanne assumed the care of her two nephews when their mother was periodically hospitalized. They consider her a second mom. The light of her life was her great niece, Charlotte.
Suzanne served as her father’s dental assistant for many years and worked periodically as a barista. She loved her plants and tended them with great care. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Suzanne is survived by her brothers, John Allan Broaddus and Robert Cary Broaddus; her cousin and best friend, Pamela Cherry Stines; her nephews Kristian Lee Broaddus and wife Jessica, Devin Micheal Broaddus and great niece, Charlotte Broaddus.
