August 2, 2025
Birthplace: Houston, Texas
Resided In: Round Rock, Texas

Sally Maulin, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025, in Round Rock, Texas, at the age of 87. Born on October 30, 1937, in Houston, Texas, to Lucy and Tino, Sally lived a life full of love, laughter, and devotion to family including her siblings Tino, Stella, Albert, and Gloria.

In 1980, she married the love of her life, Ken Maulin. Together they built a life centered on warmth, togetherness, and adventure. Sally is survived by her children: Lisa (James); Michael and Megan; Susan and Rick; Johanna; and Stephanie and Troy, Jerry and Hannah, Terry, Angi, and Heather. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Mark, Kirk, Arianna, Laura, Caney, Ron, James, William, Abby, Brooke, Hailey, Tara, Joseph, Joceyln, Caleb, and Cameron — and cherished her role as great-grandmother to many great-grandchildren.

Sally’s life was rooted in connection to her family and friends. Spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, often sharing stories, laughter, and spoiling them, was an important part of her life. Her love for a welcoming home was matched only by her enjoyment for family gatherings, and the warmth and kindness created lasting memories for everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She found joy in the simple pleasures of life: reading, fresh flowers on the counter, a cold Dr. Pepper, pretty shoes and handbags, sewing, shopping, crossword puzzles, and traveling — especially her cherished annual trips to the beach with the whole family. Sally had a flair for jewelry, especially the beautiful pieces gifted by Ken. When the opportunity arose, she never missed a chance to visit the casinos with a sparkle in her eye and a smile on her face. Often, she was the only one to leave the casino with money.

Sally’s life was a beautiful tapestry of family, tradition, and joy. We will forever remember her wit, laughter, smile, and attitude. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 6 th from noon to 5PM at Stephanie & Troy’s house. Please RSVP to Lisa or Stephanie and directions will be provided then.
