Madre, abuela, amiga y mujer de fe, dedicó su vida al servicio de su comunidad. De corazón peruano, amó a Venezuela con toda su alma.
Nuestra madre fue una persona cariñosa y generosa que siempre puso las necesidades de su familia y su comunidad por delante de las propias. Era una mujer fuerte que enfrentó cada desafío de su vida con valor y dignidad. Nuestra madre fue una fuente de inspiración y será profundamente extrañada por todos aquellos cuyas vidas tocó. Al crecer, tocó las vidas de sus primos y sobrinos, a quienes amaba con todo su corazón. Nos inculcó la importancia del trabajo duro y de hacer lo correcto. Nuestra madre fue una luchadora y un verdadero ejemplo a seguir, a quien siempre admiraremos.
Eligió partir en paz, rodeada del amor de su familia, hijas, nieto y yernos en Austin, Texas. Partió el 19 de octubre, día de la unión del pueblo venezolano por la canonización del Dr. José Gregorio Hernández y la Madre Carmen Rendiles, una coincidencia que refleja la fortaleza, convicción y dedicación con la que vivió.
Planeamos celebrar una misa en su honor, pero los detalles se compartirán una vez que estén finalizados. Mother, grandmother, friend, and a woman of faith, she dedicated her life to service and her loved community. Of Peruvian heart, she loved Venezuela with all her soul.
Our mother was a caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family and community before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all, and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched. Growing up, she touched the lives of her cousins, nephews, and nieces, to whom she loved with all her heart. She instilled in us the importance of hard work and doing what is right. Our mother was a fighter and a true role model who we will always look up to.
She chose to leave in peace, surrounded by the love of her family, daughters, grandson, and sons-in-law in Austin, Texas. He departed on October 19, the day of the union of the Venezuelan people for the canonization of Dr. José Gregorio Hernández and Mother Carmen Rendiles — a coincidence that reflects the strength, conviction, and dedication with which he lived.
We plan to hold a mass for her, but details will be shared when finalized.
