Ronald “Ronnie” Wright, age 77, of Round Rock, Texas, passed away on November 26, 2025.
Born on December 25, 1947, in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Boyd Wright and Virginia Ennis, Ronnie brought quiet strength and steady warmth to everyone who knew him. He and his wife started their early life together in South Texas, settling in McAllen, Texas for many years before moving to Round Rock in 1993, where they spent the years that followed surrounded by family and friends.
A hardworking and reserved man, Ronnie dedicated more than 50 years to the refrigeration industry—a career he took pride in. He loved working with his hands and was rarely seen without a tool in his pocket or a project he was eager to start. If Ronnie was tinkering, he was happy.
Ronnie also found joy in the simple pleasures of life such as fishing in open water, a good game of golf, and the comfort of country western music. He loved sharing these interests with his loving wife Virginia. But nothing meant more to him than the time he shared with the people he loved, his adored wife, daughter, and grandchildren, especially, brought him endless pride and joy.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Virginia Wright; his daughter, Christie Wright; his sister, Lin Ennis and wife Ellen; his brother, Randy Ennis; his grandchildren, Joshua Gilmore and Cain Gilmore. He also leaves behind many family members and treasured friends.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Urban Creekside at 12pm. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring Ronnie and the meaningful life he lived.
Ronnie will be remembered for his steady hands, gentle spirit, and generous heart. His love and legacy live on in the family he cherished. He will be deeply missed.
