Mia Lauriana Fernández, a bright and compassionate soul, left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew her. Born on May 9th, 2004, in Denton, Texas, Mia grew up in Austin, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the cherished daughter of Cody and Juan Carlo Fernández, and the devoted sister of Ema Fernández. She was survived by her grandparents, John and Petrea Norman of Florence, Texas, her grandmother Susana Fernández, her uncle Sebastian Fernández of Miramar, Florida, and an extended family across the globe.
Mia’s heart was filled with kindness and love for all living beings. Her passion for animals and humanity shone through in her daily life. As a talented esthetician, she embarked on her own entrepreneurial journey, spreading beauty and confidence to those she touched.
Tragically, Mia’s life was cut short in a car accident on June 22, 2025, in Florence, Texas. Her passing leaves a void in the lives of her family, friends, and community.
Mia’s legacy will live on through the memories of her love, laughter, and generosity. Her family takes comfort in the outpouring of support and love from those who knew her.
