Karen Huse, beloved wife, loving mother and super “Grammy”, was called to join her Lord and Savior after a two-year hard-fought battle with cancer. A Celebration of Life service for Karen will be held at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church in Andice Texas at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 11, 2025, followed by an informal reception in Carr Hall until 2:00 PM. Karen is survived by her husband, Mark, daughter, Erin Thomas, sons, Joshua and Justin Huse, grandson, Ian Thomas and granddog, Cooper Thomas. Karen is also survived by all of her siblings: Greg Schaffer, Dana Stout, Rick Schaffer, Van Schaffer, Randy Schaffer and Scott Schaffer.
This Kansas-born and raised Lady loved God, life, popcorn and people, as well as all animals and flowers, especially Sunflowers. In addition to being a wonderful mother to her family and raising a pesky husband, Karen made friends easily and everywhere. In her career years as an Adams Spice Sales Representative, Karen developed life-long friends rather than just customers and colleagues. Her quick smile and caring nature will be dearly missed but NEVER forgotten. Rest in God’s peace, Sweet Lady.
