Johnnie Carroll McCarty was born on December 4, 1937 in Graham, Texas. He had an identical twin brother named Jimmie Darroll McCarty. He also had a little brother named Jackie Lynn McCarty. His Mother was Vollie Alene (Hays) McCarty, and his father was Clainie Buckner McCarty.
Johnnie went to Plainview High School where he graduated in 1956. He served in the military and was honorably discharged after serving his term. He worked at Texas Instruments, Tandem Computers and Dell Computers. He loved computers and inventing. He patented a cure for computer viruses. He invented solutions for many other systems as well. He was working most recently on articles and a podcast to help for our Nations understanding in the future of Government Systems and what our forefathers’ intensions truly were for this great country. His hope was to simplify a complex system.
He loved reading. Johnnie said that though his family was poor, his mother purchased a set of encyclopedias when he was little. He studied them and memorized everything. He had a passion for learning. Johnnie enjoyed cooking for himself and others. He also enjoyed visiting with everyone and always had a twinkle in his eyes.
Johnnie was preceded in death by his wife Loraine Ethel Andersen McCarty, his mother, Vollie (Hays-McCarty) Mixon, his father, Clainie McCarty, his brother, Jimmie McCarty and his little brother, Jackie McCarty.
Johnnie is survived by his brother, Jimmie McCarty’s children, Nephew, John Brendan McCarty and Niece, Gillian Lea McCarty Ellis. Johnnie is also survived by his little brother, Jackie McCarty’s daughter, and only child, Niece, Petra Volyne McCarty Clary.
