James Todd Singletary, age 58, of Rosenberg, Texas passed away on August 6, 2024.
Todd was born on December 7, 1965, in Beaumont, Texas. He was raised by his mother, Denise Karen Stimac, his grandparents, Frank and Bobby Stimac and his Aunt Becky Parsley.
He met his wife, Lillie, in 2001 and they were married on April 19, 2002.
He worked at Ventilation Plus for over twenty years where he made lifelong friends. Todd was a man of many talents and hobbies. He loved to cook and bar-b-que for his family and friends. He would often take charge of cooking for family events, weddings, and holidays. No event or holiday will be the same without his cooking and the love he poured into his food. He loved the outdoors and went fishing or hunting as often as he could. He also enjoyed playing golf and if he could not make it to the golf course, you would find him watching golf on tv. He was always tinkering or building something. He recently built his wife, Lillie, a new chicken coop palace.
Todd was predeceased by his grandparents Frank and Bobby Stimac, his mother Denise Karen Stimac, his Uncle Rodney Stimac and numerous other uncles and aunts. He is survived by his loving wife, Lillie, children Barton Kelley and Shane Kelley and wife Chandra Kelley, his grandchildren BreAnn Kelley and Aaliyah Taylor, his great grandson Jaxton McDonald, his siblings Scott Singletary, Shayna Langston, Carol Dylla and husband Mark Dylla, Russell Ondrey and wife Terri Baker, Bobby Ondrey and wife Jonel Ondrey, Henry Ondrey and wife Jacqueline Bottoms, his Uncle Tony Parsley and Aunt Becky Parsley and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Fairchild Fire Department, 8715 Fairchild Road, Richmond, Texas 77469. Food and beverages will be served. Please come and share your memories of Todd with his family and friends.
