Jamar Walden, age 35, of Jarrell, Texas, passed away on December 9, 2025. He was born on December 16, 1989, in Queens, New York, and was raised in Virginia, where he spent his early years surrounded by family. He later made his home in Texas, where he lived at the time of his passing.

Jamar was known for his generous heart, his deep love for his family, and the way he cared for the children in his life.

He is survived by his mother, Francine Walden; and his siblings Tyasia Mosley, Lameek Vanderhorst, Shamaine Walden-Greene, and Endia Walden. He was a proud and loving uncle to his nieces: Zuri, Miyah, and Treu’Dream.

Jamar also leaves behind a large extended family who adored him — including his aunts Lucille, Miriam, and Denene; and his aunt Erica and her husband, Uncle Jessie. He is also remembered fondly by his cousins Tamisha, Shaliqua, Taniqua, Sharon, and Nijay.

He shared a devoted relationship with his girlfriend, Shakeema, and was a steady and loving father figure to Jamareon, Landon, Legend, and Gregory, who will forever cherish the impact he had on their lives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Keith McMillan; his cousins Shamel Davis Jr. and Shaquasia Davis; and all of his grandparents: Henry and Edith McMillan, Ethel Doss and Frank Walden.

Jamar will be remembered for his bright smile, his humor, his loyalty, and the way he showed up for the people he loved. His absence leaves an immeasurable void, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
