Denise (Boyd) Rivers left this world February 1, 2023 when the family was told that she was brain dead due to severe anoxic brain trauma. Denise was raised in Pittsburgh, Pa with her sister Gloria Maiolini by a single parent Harriet Boyd. She attended Oliver High School and finished her education at Letche/Connelly Trade School. She is the mother of 6 beautiful children that she raised alone. She was the proud grandmother to 21 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Denise was preceeded in death by her son Daton Boyd and mother Harriet Boyd. She leaves behind a son Darryl Austin, and four daughters: Deneen Collington, Danielle Boyd, Deanna Boyd, Delise Boyd, and her beloved grandchildren which are too numerous to name. Denise was an organ donor and has left her mark on this world in the gifts of life through organ donation that will help others. The family thanks everyone for their outpouring of love and the condolences during our time of sorrow.
